Luke Bulman received a master of architecture degree at Rice School of Architecture, which at the time was a school deeply dedicated to the book as an instrument of architectural thinking. He was influenced by study and collaborations with Lars Lerup, Mary Ann Ray, Robert Mangurian, Sanford Kwinter, and Bruce Mau, whose work remains a constant point of reference. He is on the faculty of Yale School of Architecture and Parsons School of Design.
